Donations to Adelante Mujer come from throughout the United States, including Alaska. Why do people give to Adelante Mujer? Clearly, for many reasons. Some want their gift to make a real difference in the lives of the poor. Nicaragua is second only to Haiti in poverty. Aware that Nicaraguans on the East Coast have only one doctor for approximately 9,000 persons is a very convincing statistic that their donation, large or small, will be a big help to those who are studying to become medical doctors and to all whom they serve as doctors. The words of donors give support to this endeavor
Tim and Karen share their perception: “We are so impressed with the Adelante Mujer program – one of the best ‘charities’ we have ever given to. How fortunate that we got to visit a few years ago when you told us about Adelante Mujer.”
Tomi and Ted like contributing to a successful program: “We all want to jump on the bandwagon of success. Knowing that you are receiving in-comings of money gives us the security that this endeavor is going to continue into the future. It’s a job well done.”
Sheila was complimentary: “Adelante Mujer is such a wonderful program that Sister Ann started. I’m honored to contribute in her memory.”
