Adelante Mujer is blessed by so many good people who contribute in so many different ways. They are donors of money without whom we could not exist. They are benefactors who donate time and labor and expertise like our web developer James Sharp from Glendale Designs and our Board of Directors whose services are totally uncompensated. The Sisters of St. Agnes surely belong to our list of blessings because they allow us to use an office with all its amenities.
We have a guest writer for our blog, a generous friend of Adelante Mujer.
In late October of 2011 Sister Ann contacted us via phone to discuss a brochure she needed us to design. We met in our office the following week to discuss the details and our journey with Adelante Mujer began.
Patricia Lefevere from National Catholic Reporter (NCR) recently published an article on Adelante Mujer -Advance Woman that we wanted to share with you.
A regular reader of the Adelante Mujer blog contacted me last week. (see post of July 5, 2016 here) This is what she told me.

Our last blog pictured people in the US who bless Adelante Mujer with their service. This blog describes a few of our many blessings in Nicaragua.
Mark Neilsen wrote a short reflection for Christmas Day in Living with Christ. Mark used the verse from Luke’s Gospel, “All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds.” He then asked, “Can you think of the last time you were amazed?”
Thanksgiving time is not the only time we are grateful. Every day, but especially at this time of year, we are thankful for the people who pray for Adelante Mujer, friends who inquire about the progress of our medical students, seven wonderful women who donate their time and talent as members of the Board of Directors, and all our generous donors who offer their monetary support. We are blessed by each and all of you. There would not be an Adelante Mujer without YOU and your support.
